WHY SHOULD PERSONAL PROPERTY BE DOCUMENTED?

Documenting personal property provides evidence, information, and/or proof of something:

  • For losses as a result or before theft, fire, water
  • Damage due to shipping and moving, or before shipping and moving
  • Assigning family items individually
  • Probate Court
  • Settlement of legal and personal disputes
  • Business Liquidations, Transfer of Franchise

QUALIFICATIONS

As a third independent party with no interest, my expertise is in sales and marketing with over 40 years experience. I have been a licensed auctioneer for over 30 years. With continuing education at the Auction Marketing Institute, Indiana University, Certified Auctioneers Institute, I am one of ten state auctioneers who wrote the licensing law test for Virginia auctioneers. Also, I have been the moderator of workshops for the Virginia, West Virginia and the New Jersey Auctioneers Associations. I was also a finalist in International Auctioneer Competition Championship sponsored by the National Auctioneers Association.

My personal property appraisals have probated in 5 countries, in all county, state, federal and bankruptcy courts. I am a Master Personal Property Appraiser and one of two National Auctioneer Association Personal Property Appraisers who represent the National Auctioneer Educational Institute at The Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council (TAFAC) authorized by the U.S. Congress as the Source of Appraisal Standards and Appraisals Qualifications Personal Property Working Group. My appraisals comply with USPAP standards and are valid through 2016.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Depending on the depth of the research, three working days up to two weeks. Fee is charged by the hour.
